Recently I had the opportunity to write an article for Ft. Myers Magazine. I had found a little tidbit on Thomas Edison, and how much he loved baseball, to the point that as an old man, he went to spring training with the Philadelphia Athletics. He even took a little batting practice against Ty Cobb, leading to a story that made national headlines.
